Welcome back, beautiful soul.
In this space, we remember who we truly are. We don’t just talk about transformation — we become it.
So much of our spiritual journey asks us to surrender the idea that we can learn from the sidelines. We can read the books, follow the podcasts, watch the videos. We can surround ourselves with wisdom and still… never actually touch the thing we’re longing for.
Because embodiment — the true, lived experience of your divinity — only happens when you’re willing to put your fingers on the keys.
Just like learning to play the piano, there’s only so much information you can take in before you must engage. The real learning, the sacred transformation, begins the moment you show up — wobbly, unsure, maybe even a little scared — and press your fingers to the keys. You play the wrong note. You play a beautiful one. You feel your way forward. And you grow.
That’s what today’s journey is about: practicing presence. Cultivating spiritual skill sets that allow us to show up more fully, more truthfully, and more lovingly — for ourselves and for the world.
But before we dive into that, we begin, as we always do, with the most sacred act we can offer one another: our collective loving.
Each episode of Spiritual Ambition is held within a circle of light. It’s not just symbolic — it’s real. We bring our hearts together and extend divine grace to those who need it most. Whether it’s someone navigating a health challenge, facing a tough decision, or simply trying to stay afloat in these wildly changing times, your love matters.
This week, we send light to Janice, Cheris, Joanne, Diane, Linda, David, and Nicole. And to anyone else whose name rests silently in your heart right now.
May they feel the presence of our collective intention.
May they be uplifted by the vibration of love.
And may they remember they are not alone.
If you’d like to add someone to our Sacred Healing Light list, you can do so by visiting Spiritual Ambition. We’ll hold them in our hearts, together.
The Practice That Changes Everything
When you begin to engage directly with your own divine nature — when you feel the truth of who you are — it changes you.
Not intellectually. Cellularly.
You don’t come back from that the same.
I remember when it first happened for me. It wasn’t a concept anymore. It wasn’t something I hoped for or believed in. It was a knowing. A felt, embodied knowing of the vastness and the limitlessness and the presence that is me — that is you.
And when you feel it… you can’t un-feel it.
Surrendering the Grip
Living in Costa Rica has become one of my greatest teachers.
She is wild, untameable, and full of presence. And because of that, she mirrors everything back — especially the parts of us still trying to control, still gripping to the illusion of certainty.
When I lived in the corporate world, I spent decades mastering control. Planning, managing, and always anticipating. But nature doesn’t operate on those terms. The jungle doesn’t follow an agenda. The rain doesn’t arrive on a schedule.
Being here, I’ve had to learn how to soften. To trust. To let life unfold on its own terms. Sometimes that looks like a thunderstorm canceling plans. Sometimes it looks like a quiet afternoon, gentle rain tapping on the roof, asking you to just be.
It’s not always comfortable. But it’s real. And it’s freeing.
The Spiritual Skill Set We’re All Cultivating
This whole show — Spiritual Ambition — is a space to practice. It’s a sacred hour where we set the intention not to “consume” more content, but to experience ourselves more fully.
So today, I invite you to consider: what are the spiritual muscles you’re building?
Presence. Compassion. Listening. Self-trust. Surrender. These aren’t just lofty ideals — they’re skills. And like any skill, they require practice. They require falling and trying again. They require us to put our fingers on the keys.
Because that’s where the magic is.
And here’s the truth, love: it’s not about being perfect. It’s about being willing.
Willing to scrape your knee. Willing to feel your way forward. Willing to be changed.
And when we do that together — in sacred community, in shared intention — the healing isn’t just personal. It becomes collective. It ripples out. It blesses the world.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for practicing with me. Thank you for putting your fingers on the keys.
