Let’s decide to live in a world that is more enamored with the power of love, than the love of power.
Power is about control. Having it, using it, not losing it. Having control is being able to do what you want, when you want, how you want, wherever you want. This is a position. It’s born out of selfishness, which is born out of fear.
If I have no power, if I am powerless, I will be controlled. I will be restricted, confined, repressed, withheld. If I have no power I am needy, I am subject to other people’s opinions, whims, wills. This wakes up the fear inside of me that I will suffer. I will suffer if I don’t get, have, keep, experience what I want, how I want, where I want. Diminishing why I want.
Why I want to is so I am not harmed. Harmed by and through forcing myself. Forcing myself to be the way you want me to be. Forcing myself to go against my own natural rhythm, desires, impulses.
Ahh, do you see what is at play here? The business of the ego. The land of the egoic mind. The land of separation. Power is wanted, needed and held onto to protect ourselves from the illusion and fear of separation.
LOVE.
What is it really? Is it romantic? Is it compassion, caring, selflessness? Is it sexy-time? Does love mean I’m supposed to bypass my own wants, needs, desires, preferences and give them over to you in sacrifice? In selflessness? Is this what we’ve been taught? Through motherhood? Through religion? Through suffering?
If looking through the lens of the egoic mind, perhaps this is why it’s been so hard to give up the power and move more fully into love, because perhaps our view of love is distorted?
I watch these dynamics play out in my own life between my husband and I. I see our inner children in a childish tug-o-war finger pointing each other for nonsense of whether the coffee beans should be kept on the counter or in the fridge or whether the dishwasher is full enough to run or not. If I’m honest,
I want my way…….
I want the power because…….
I want to be in control so that I can feel……….
Like I matter?
That I’m not invisible?
That I won’t be harmed?
That you care about me and what I want and what matters to me?
Then our egos make up stories and do a dance. And round and round we go.
We see the same on the world’s stage.
Power.
Control.
Struggle.
Suffering.
Are we afraid of LOVE because that feels a little to losey-goosey, sappy, vulnerable, intimate?
What if you knew about and could experience a different kind of LOVE?
There is a love that is bigger than all the human dynamics we pull into it.
Big Love is beyond the land of the ego
Big Love is the energy, fabric and texture of the Love that made us. The energy that we are a part of. If you are a meditator or you pray, you’ve maybe done some breathwork, practiced mindfulness or maybe even done some plant medicine – you’ve had a sip of the energy of oneness. You’ve tasted the BIG LOVE because Big Love is an elevated state of consciousness.
But, make no mistake that it’s something you have to go “get” or seek, or travel a path to. It’s right here, right now and it’s just a matter of shifting your attention and awareness to dissolve the blocks to it’s Presence and existence.
Big Love is the energy of All That Is. It’s the fabric of what connects us all. Big Love is beyond the Love that we have for a spouse or a child or a pet. This is a Love big enough to hold it all. The good and the bad. The right and the wrong. This is a Love that is beyond labels or judgment or positionality because it’s inclusive of everything. No matter how ugly or pretty or broken or perfect. This is a love that is unconditional. A love comprised of wisdom.
Original Wisdom is the inherent intelligence in all Beings that is rooted in unconditional Love.
Unconditional Love is Big Love. The energy of Big Love calibrates at a vibrational resonance of a 540, according to Dr. David Hawkins’s scale of consciousness as illustrated and scientifically documented in his book Power Vs Force.
Big love is not something we are trying to get TO. Or, something we are trying to become. We don’t arrive at Big Love. Big Love is not a destination. Big Love is a Universal Truth we recognize. It’s the revelation of one’s own Original Wisdom.
We are in the most auspicious time on the planet as the feminine rises up to reclaim its power. If we – humanity – have evolved at all, we recognize this is not a power “over” anyone or anything. It’s the rising of an archetypal energy of the yin. Of softness, opening, gentleness and receiving. It’s a power rising that together, with the energy of the healthy masculine brings all of us into balance.
As each one of us works out and with these archetypal and energetic frequencies within ourselves, what we are each doing inwardly and individually is coming into balance.
Each of us individually residing in balance inside ourselves, with an equal measure of the power of love for it all – is what will then balance the world.
The masculine and the feminine together birth Big Love. Big Love is inherent within each of us. Without it, no living thing would exist. It is the spark of Creation itself. It resides in the here and now. Everything derived from Big Love is a miracle. Everything. Regardless of the label or judgment our egoic minds place on it.
God is Big Love, which is very different from the religious definition of a “Loving God.”
Big Love JUST IS. We don’t have to go find it. The opportunity is to become aware of its Presence. The Truth of each of us, is composed as Big Love. It’s not a feeling or an idea. Big Love makes no judgment. It does not choose between you and me. It’s not the masculine or the feminine, it’s the composition of wholeness. It’s both. It’s balanced.
This Love is actually not even an emotion or a feeling – although it can be experientially felt as sensation the physical body is responding to. Big Love exists in the present moment. It is energetic, which makes it spiritual. Not religious.
Big Love is not:
Romantic | Physical attraction | Grasping | Conditional | Dynamic | Idealistic | Attached | Mental | Emotional | Physical.
Big Love is:
Alive | Static | Available | Universal | Unconditional | Omnipresent | Omniscience | Infinite | Impersonal |Unchanging |Constant | Permanent | Pure | Unbound by space and time | Independent of and inter dependent of any condition or external circumstance.
This love, while here and now in this very moment, is at a different level of consciousness. It’s like being on a different floor in the same building. It’s literally in a different dimension, but one that is accessible and available to you, to me, to anyone who is curious, interested, inspired and motivated to live in a world more enamored with the power of love than the love of power.
To understand this LOVE at our present level of consciousness, we must begin where we are.
The power of the universe is concentrated as YOU. Inside of you exists a sacred atom of Love, which translates to a blazing, diamond, jewel of Light that, at its central core, is the greatest concentration of energy in the universe. This energy is released through the opening of the nuclei.
With a higher level of consciousness, we recognize we are each composed of this big infinite atom of universal Love. When we meet Big Love, the experience of this energy is one in which we are opened and released by our own Presence in an intense, powerful and universal way.
It is possible for a split second revelation, to BE ONE WITH the all-consuming crystalline diamond white light of BIG LOVE, letting it consume you. Fission takes place – the splitting of the nucleus is accompanied by the release of this all encompassing energy – and every atom of your Being is set into motion radiating outward the universal Big Love. This LOVE is your POWER.
As you learn to embody more fully, this universal cosmic energy, it radiates out and touches the activities in your personal life and all aspects are healed and harmonized. At this level of consciousness problems are not recognized, because they don’t actually exist. (Remember you’re on a different floor in the building)
This is the power of essence, rather than form. It’s an expansion of context through a higher view and a full encompassing of our totality and wholeness. When experienced, the Power of this Love offers instantaneous understanding of one’s whole life, seeing its beauty, perfection and miraculously divine map of exquisiteness.
Earth is a school. It’s not here to be controlled. It’s here to be experienced. It’s here for our learning, growth and evolution.
You are a divine Being having and making an epic human journey through this thing called life. You can keep jockeying for power and control, trying to over manage and manipulate the physical world. Or you can come home to the truth inside of you. To your real power. To the Love that you are.
