Discovering the Divine Blueprint Behind Your Life’s Greatest Lessons
Why am I here?
It’s such a big and important question. Many of us don’t ask this question until we are having some sort of crisis, hit mid-life, suffer a big loss or have some type of encounter with our own mortality.
Earth is a school. Plato may have been the first to reference this – while not explicitly calling Earth a school, in his “Theory of Forms” he presents the physical world as a place where souls come to learn and remember divine truths.
Austrian philosopher Rudolf Steiner, who founded the Waldorf Education, created a spiritual philosophy that attempts to bridge science and spirituality. While not directly calling Earth a school, in his writings (early 1900s) he described Earth as a place where spirits incarnate for development and evolution of consciousness.
More modern day authors and visionaries who were of this thinking include Gary Zukav, Dolores Cannon, Edgar Cayce and Michael Newton to name a few. Not to mention many Indigenous traditions also hold similar views about Earth being a place of learning and spiritual development, though they often express this concept through different metaphors and frameworks.
I know in the depth of my Being, this is why we are here.
As I became aware of this in my own life, I had the profound revelation that it might be helpful to be in cooperation WITH my soul’s plan, instead of against it.
A first step towards alignment in our life, is the recognition that not only do we have a plan but that it’s encoded AS our Sacred Soul Signature.
Your Sacred Soul Signature is your divine blueprint which holds the dynamic code to your entelechy – your fullest realized potential.
In “Earth School” as Gary Zukuv so perfectly put it in his bestseller The Seat of the Soul, we all come here with a plan. A “Soul Plan” I call it your Sacred Soul Plan.
Drawing from this ancient wisdom and my own journey of awakening, I’ve coined a term that describes and more fully explains why we are here.
Your Sacred Soul Plan is:
- The unique spiritual curriculum designed specifically for your journey by your soul
- The core life lessons and patterns that keep appearing for and as invitations to your growth and the fullest realized expression of your personalized potential
- The deeper purpose behind your challenges and triumphs
- Your soul’s roadmap for awakening and evolution
Your Sacred Soul Plan is your spiritual DNA – the unique blueprint held in your Sacred Soul Signature that shapes your journey of awakening. It contains the divine unfolding of the experiences, relationships, challenges and gifts that catalyze your deepest transformation.
You can think of your Sacred Soul Plan as your soul’s personalized master class.
Your Sacred Soul Plan includes:
- The recurring themes in your life that aren’t random, but purposeful teachers
- The relationships that trigger your greatest growth
- The challenges that strengthen exactly what needs developing
- The natural gifts you’re meant to share with the world
- The unique way you’re designed to contribute to your own life and to humanity’s evolution
When we decide to “get with the program” we wake up. We discover that our stay here in Earth School isn’t random AT ALL and that we have some assignments to fulfill. An agenda, per say, that needs our attention. When we are ready to actually tune in and more seriously consider our Sacred Soul Plan, we can explore the following inner inquires:
What core lessons keep appearing in your life?
The geography may have changed, the cast members are rearranged, but the core themes stay the same. For example, I’ve had challenges with “authority figures” my entire life. First my dad, (who then died when I was 22) then a series of male bosses spanning 25 years, then systems such as education and medical. I perceived these “authority figures” as “in control” of me and my life in some way. This was part of my Sacred Soul Plan to discover throughout my life’s journey, my own INNER authority as my connection with and to the divine. Only this is the governing authority in my life.
Which relationship dynamics act as your greatest teachers?
Whether its power and control, communication, attachment and intimacy or boundaries and asking for what you need, we all come together to learn and grow through our deepest relationships. (And some of the surface ones too!) Consider the Sacred Soul Plan setting you up to learn where you are being invited to your own power in some way. Maybe you’re here to learn to listen more deeply, to be more courageous with your vulnerability or perhaps learn how to say no. Which themes in your life seem to be on repeat – happening over and over again? Can you find the lesson? Are you taking the learning with you?
If you look closely you will notice that the patterns will seem to repeat until you master them.
We are here to create, to learn about our power as a unique individualized expression of the divine in motion and, by all means, we are here to grow, learn, expand and evolve.Understanding your Sacred Soul Plan is a great way to get on board with your own plan. Instead of fighting with life, come into acceptance and cooperation and your life will begin to fall into place.
