Part the Clouds
My first husband never really understood me, but I do think he was trying to catch on to my ways. When I would decide on something and then start taking action in that direction, regardless of if (he thought) it made sense or not – he would say, “Are you trying to part the clouds again?” because I honestly believed that I could.
So, why do we get stuck thinking that we “can’t”? Why don’t think we can?
Because when we were small, someone told us we couldn’t – and we grew up believing them. We have so many misbeliefs layered upon us. These beliefs were formed from our parents and our teachers and our media and our society. There are so many “programs” running in our minds, it’s no wonder we buy into self-limiting ideas and let those tapes play in our subconscious.
Believing that we can, above all else, is largely the secret to really getting anything we want. If we can shift into the space of possibility we automatically create the space for something to happen. Just a little shift makes it so. What would you create if you didn’t think it was impossible?
